Bringing USA’s top kid’s probiotic brand to China 

Challenge

Kids complain about stomach pain a lot. Culturelle is a probiotic supplement designed for children to help them with their gut and stomach health. As the USA’s #1 selling probiotic supplement, we were tasked to introduce the brand to China, with the goal of building brand awareness among Chinese moms, and supporting their developing distributor base.   

Actions

Brandigo first developed the Chinese name for the brand, through research and our in-house naming methodology. We then applied the name to the logo and developed all supporting marketing collaterals – including digital and offline assets.


Through a press and distributor event that included China’s most well-known pediatrician, Dr. Cui Yutao, alongside a US expert and 70 journalists, brand awareness of Culturelle skyrocketed. 


Brandigo managed the event, the influencer, and all journalists and digital KOL. Besides the brand launch, we also held a series of seminars and small media group interviews. 

Results

  • Hundreds of placements in key Chinese media
  • Online awareness through influencers and KOL
  • Brand support from China’s top pediatrician gave brand credibility
  • Increased distributor and sales network
